The Ring of Beara
"The Ring of Beara" is a popular day trip and we offer you a private car with a driver for a day - tour only (approximately 8 hours, between 8am and 8pm) for only €225. Because it is a private tour, you decide how much time you need for taking those unmissable photographs, where to have lunch, and take a break. Also compared to bus trips we can stop in many more places (of your choice), and go where buses can’t.

The "Ring of Beara" is a tourist trail for cars which follows the roads for about 195 kilometres (121 mi) around the peninsula. It starts in Kenmare, crossing the Healy Pass through Adrigole, passing Castletownbere, Allihies, and turn offs to Dursey Island, Eyeries and Ardgroom, ending in Glengarriff. The area has had a long connection with the sea; Castletownbere is one of Ireland's largest fishing ports and has diving, sailing and boating facilities.

You can also visit Dursey Island, where you can get only by cable car. The cable car is the only one in Ireland. The journey takes about ten minutes crossing the infamous Dursey Sound where strong tides make travelling by boat hazardous.
